My daughter, the other day, found that someone hacked her Facebook id and opened another mirror account in her name. She was horrified to see that this hacker was chatting online with her friends in her name, using her photographs and information. She (my daughter) did not know what to do in this case, how to warn others or how close the mirror account. What would you do in this case?

Identity theft is an issue that needs to be aggressively attacked by Congress. If I was you then I would contact Facebook immediately and close my account. I would also inform all of her Facebook friends that her account has been hacked and to de-friend her on their account.
