Each name in your contact list becomes an auction object. There are people who siphon these names and email IDs, package them, and sell them to the highest bidder. They make a pretty buck while you start wondering where such a deluge of spam emails are coming from.
Stop data theft – don’t help data thieves! Ensure that you do not send these chain letters, no matter what. In case you like a particular email and wish to forward it, make sure that you delete all the forwarded email IDs that are imprinted in your email, so as to safeguard yourself and your friends.
